IMPORTANT: MDUSD COVID-19 testing reminder for students, staff and their families
Posted 8/18/21

Mt. Diablo Unified has partnered with PMH Laboratory to offer optional weekly COVID-19 testing as a convenience - for students, staff and their immediate families only - at three locations starting the week of Aug. 16. The district is unable to offer testing to community members who are not students, staff members or their immediate families.

A schedule can be found at www.mdusd.org/covidtesting. The final testing day this week is tomorrow (Thursday) at Riverview Middle School in Bay Point.

Registration should be completed prior to your arrival at the testing site. To do this, please follow the 'Steps For Testing' guide at www.mdusd.org/covidtesting. Please bring your I.D.

Forms should also be completed prior to arrival, and can also be found under 'Steps For Testing.'

Beginning next week, Aug. 23, we are adding 11 sites, totaling 14 locations with testing for students, staff and their immediate families.

We also encourage you to contact your health care providers and take advantage of COVID-19 testing available through Contra Costa Health Services and other locations in the community.

And we would also like to remind you that COVID-19 vaccines for people ages 12 and older are available through Contra Costa Health Services, Kaiser PermanenteJohn Muir Health and at other locations in the community including CVS, Walgreens and the Bay Point Family Health Center.

Currently, testing is not required for students who are not showing symptoms of COVID-19. Information about COVID-19 testing and other Back to School protocols can be found in this district FAQ and in 2021-22 Student Guidelines.
