USING THE 2019-2020 DATA, MDUSD WAS IDENTIFIED AS SIGNIFICANTLY DISPROPORTIONATE IN THE IDENTIFICATION OF AFRICAN AMERICAN STUDENTS AS INTELLECTUALLY DISABLED.  

The District is committed to examining policies, procedures and practices that contribute to this and working diligently to eliminate this over-representation.
